 LIMA TAEKWONDO ACADEMY was the first martial arts center in the Culver City area to offer BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU (BJJ) 13 ago. Today the program is extremely successful and the responsible for its success is Master JOHN MACHADO, a 5th degree black belt with 30 years of experience in this Brazilian art. JOHN MACHADO and his 4 brothers (JEAN JACQUES, RIGAN, CARLOS and ROGER) are pioneers of this art in the US, they had been teaching in California and Texas since 1989.
